PETER’S BOOK RECOMMENDATION
MORTGAGE BROKER RESOURCE
WHAT I LEARNED
[1st listen] I have an assistant and realized I was doing too much of her job. Instead of letting her do her job, I was always meddling in files, sending in docs when I shouldn’t have been, submitting files to lenders, and contacting underwriters for updates. I decided I needed to take a page out of Peter’s book, and focus on the my core strengths and let her focus on her strengths.
[2nd listen] I was considering creating a custom course on the home buying process for my clients and I have probably already spent 4-5 hours on it. Peter mentioned he uses CMHC as a resource since it is a neutral site. I’m going to begin using CMHC’s content in my process. I may create the custom course, but not until I am in my slow season.
